Every sign is assigned one of three Modalities: Cardinal, Fixed or Mutable. Each sign is a unique combination of Element and Modality.
There are four signs for each modality.
- Cardinal signs: Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn. Cardinal signs are typically goal and action oriented, wanting to create or make something new happen.
- Fixed signs: Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius. Fixed signs tend to be about stability, endurance and loyalty.
- Mutable signs: Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces. Mutable signs are often changeable, adaptable, unpredictable and good at fine-tuning.
