Synonyms: Star of David

Grand Sextile

This aspect pattern consists of 6 planets evenly spaced around the zodiac, each 60° from the planets beside it. To get 6 planets (or even including non-physical points) in orb at the same time is very rare.

All 6 planets are aspected to all other planets in the pattern through a sextile (60°), a trine (120°) or an opposition (180°).

There are several sub-configurations contained within the Grand Sextile:

  • 2 Grand Trine figures, in different but compatible elements (Fire and Air, or Earth and Water)
  • 3 Mystic Rectangle figures
  • 6 Wedge figures

This reflects the great complexity of this configuration. Contains enormous creative potential, which can be used for ingenuity and/or manipulation. Sometimes called a "Star of David."
